My five year old son really likes it! My 12yr old watches it also, he laughs yet may not admit it. I enjoyed the humor, dancing, singing, vivid colors and characters despite the simple story.
Its Horridly Funny
My son isn't a big reader, but Horrid Henry is actually a book he picked up and read last year. Not only did he read it, he loved it. He was ecstatic when I told him they were making it into a movie. The story revolves around Henry, a little boy who has a tendancy to get into trouble. Set in England, Horrid Henry follows a crazy trouble making kid through all his rambunctious adventures. You'll meet his rather large family and watch him join forces with his nerdy neighbor Moody Margaret. The two become unlikely allies in a battle to win the talent show and help save their school.
This movie was so much fun to watch. It has a little of everything. Of course there is tons of slap stick humor, but it also teaches kids about the bonds of friendship and to never give up on their dreams. There's music, surprises, and a whole lot of laughs. On my end, I was excited to see Angelica Huston was a member of the cast. She was always been on of my favorite actresses. She plays...
Cute but predictable
I bought this for my grandson Henry and his siblings. They said it was just OK....they see everything that comes along.
